What is a limited-edition print?
A limited-edition means that a fixed number of prints are made. Limited-edition prints are more scarce; thus, they are more collectable.
Can I buy an original Carlin Hall?
Yes. If you are interested in buying an original, private sales can be arranged through our gallery in Virginia.
Are the prints signed by the artist?
Yes. Each print is personally inspected by and signed by Carlin Hall – making it an official print from the artist.
How are prints made?
Each print is created on a giclee printer. We use Juniper Baryta Rag 305 Paper. The paper features a 100% cotton fiber base with a 305 gsm basis weight and a thickness of 16 mil. This paper was chosen because of its texture and lack of optical brightener additives.
Does my print come with a certificate of authenticity?
Yes. Each print will come with a certificate of authenticity, which is mailed separately.
How will my prints be packaged?
After a throughout inspection process, each print is rolled and covered in a pH neutral, acid free paper that is resistant to moisture, air, and grease (glassine paper). It is then placed in a shipping tube to ensure safe delivery.
How long will it take for my prints to arrive?
Since each print needs to cure and then be personally inspected, signed, and numbered by the artist, we ask that you allow 2-3 weeks for delivery.
Do you offer framing services?
At this time, we do not sell framed pieces. However, we do offer framing suggestions and consultations. Each print is created with 3 inches of additional canvas for stretching and framing.
Do any Carlin Hall paintings have colors other than black and white?
Yes. Very few. However, these works are not currently available for sale or public viewing.
